Partnerships Powering Progress at Mapalo

Today, we are delighted to share an important milestone at Mapalo Young Peace Makers (YPM) Community School—a reflection of the remarkable progress we continue to make together through the support of our valued partners and friends.

From its inception, YPM has remained an ambitious and forward-looking institution, committed to providing quality, inclusive, and accessible education for vulnerable and orphaned children. One of the key principles that has guided our journey is our willingness to embrace collaboration with like-minded stakeholders who share our vision of transforming lives through education.

Over the years, we have proudly maintained a 100% Grade 7 examination pass rate, an achievement that speaks to the dedication of our teachers, learners, and partners. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to HealthEd Connect, whose unwavering support has played a significant role in helping us reach this point.

We are also excited to share that Smart Zambia has partnered with our school by installing free high-speed Wi-Fi, a development that is already strengthening our ICT lessons (computer lessons), expanding research opportunities, and exposing our learners to the digital world.

In addition, we have further strengthened our collaboration with the (Mapalo) Community Library, which has generously donated five laptops to our school. These laptops will supplement our existing computer resources and enable more learners to develop essential digital skills in today's technology-driven world.

These partnerships are a powerful testament to the positive impact YPM continues to make in the lives of our learners and within the wider community. They also reaffirm that when communities and partners work together, we can create greater opportunities for every child to succeed.
